Next time, try actually reading the article instead of just the headline... It says that it is a Frankenstein machine that was reverse engineered and built using used components from existing suppliers on the black market and is many times larger than the original, making it far from commercially viable. The same article states that it took ASML almost 20 years from when they had the first EUV prototype in 2001 (i.e. 2019) until it was commercially available.

if you are interested in my article, take a close look on FD (financieel dagblad) , none of what you are saying is reported in that article, in fact it's a really alarming article, as it says many Chinese employees which worked on ASML, together created and cracked the code,
Nothing to do with building it reverse or not, these are EX co workers, from several departments of ASML, which all had their own knowledge to build a import piece of the machine.
Never ever underestimate the knowledge of the Chinese, if you want to think it's a Frankenstein machine, so be it.?
And time will teach i suppose...
