🚢 Höegh Autoliners | 35.28% Dividend Yield!

Lately, I’ve noticed that quite a few dividend investors seem to have Höegh Autoliners $HAUTO (+0,81%) in their portfolios. The company seems pretty solid, and the dividend yield definitely catches the eye. 👀

I’m curious to hear from people in this community who actually own the stock:

  • How has your experience been so far?
  • Do you see the dividend as sustainable, or do you think it’s at risk?

Would love to get a discussion going and hear your insights, especially from those who have been holding it for a while. 🌍📈

I love $HAUTO. We know it from our business. Tarrifs made it a bit shacky, but the company fully stabilized and shows good results.

@mkaps I am interested to know in what context your company has dealings with Höegh?

Autoliners is a wild one – crazy volatile, but that’s where the money’s made. If you can stomach the swings, this thing’s got serious potential. Their fleet is top-tier, probably one of the most modern in the game.

Even if the dividend drops below 20%, that’s still nuts – absolute monster yield compared to anything else out there.

I’m stacking in small tranches to average down my entry. No rush, just building the position. But yeah, it’s hella volatile – not for paper hands. You need steel nerves to ride this one out. 💪📊

well such dividends seem hard to maintain, but some sectors allow such strong dividend yields. My strategy there is holding and building passive income and even re-investing still.
But indeed there is some risk on it. We have no magic ball of the future anyway. It can all change.

@serkeftin Very well said, maybe the yield is so high to attract new investors, and for them to gain marketcap?

@Tanktycho I think the high yield is also pay out to the family who owns the business.

I believe their fleet when purchased gets sold to the family fund. That keeps tangibles asset and the service separate while the service company HAUTO has a pile of fresh cash to invest in growing the business and having a young fleet.
