@horseback That's exactly what they want you to believe. It's pure voter capture, do you really think that all our problems will go away when another, right-wing party is in charge? The AfD sits comfortably in the opposition and can talk big, but when it's their turn they'll be just as bad as the idiots we have right now. Just like Trump: he talked a lot about wanting to bring back freedom of speech, etc., and now that it's his turn: he's doing exactly the same and taking it up a notch.
Don't get me wrong, I'm absolutely no fan of the government of the last few decades, but the AfD is unlikely to do any better when it really comes down to it.

•@JuppDupp I don't quite understand what you're getting at. I have never supported the current government, nor any tax increases. If it were up to me, 99% of what the state does right now would be left to the market. Maybe even 100%

@Simon_n I'm with you on that, but if you haven't noticed, there are only two sides left. And one side has already proven for years that it can't do it.

@JuppDupp Just because there are only two sides doesn't mean that the other is necessarily better. I am in favor of simply looking at things objectively and holistically and seeing that the state makes pretty much everything it touches worse. Relatively independent of which party is currently in control.

@LarryLindt Well, such calculations about who saves whom money are always a bit opaque. No party is likely to get a good result. But I agree with you, the AfD members can't answer questions properly in interviews when it really matters.
