Let's see what the market makes of it

The first acid test for my new derivatives strategy is today's figures from $TJX (-1,15%) . Expectations were beaten.

Investing.com - TJX (NYSE: TJX) reported third quarter EPS of $1.28, $0.05 more than the analyst estimate of $1.23.

Revenue for the quarter totaled $15.1B, compared to average estimates of $14.84B.

Forecast

In the fourth quarter of 2026, TJX expects EPS of $1.33-$1.36. Analysts had expected an average of $1.37.

@Tenbagger2024 I don't find the stores that appealing. We have a big flagship in Cologne, as I'm sure you know. But the store is always full and I consistently separate personal preferences from investment decisions.😉😎

@Tenbagger2024 I feel the same way. There's a big store near us in Oberhausen and I always have that rummage table feeling in there 🤷🏼‍♂️

And I tend to agree with Tim Schäfer and his thriftiness 🙈😂

@Tenbagger2024 😉 You can get the same bargains in the arcades at New Yorker.😎😂 However, the service there is terrible. You have to go to the self-service checkout. And even if 5 employees are standing around and a terminal is broken, you'll just stand there for 45 minutes and don't think they'll open a till.
