I'm always torn.

It's great when your own dividend stocks go up in price. On the other hand, I sometimes think to myself: crap - you actually wanted to buy a few more of these at some point and now they're much more expensive than before. I'll have to look for something new for a new investment if the dividend doesn't grow with the price increase soon.
