21Patito’s misadventures in the Stock Market
Back when I started investing (ehmm… earlier this year) I thought 🚀 meant “no brainer deal.”
So I jumped into $BBAI (-6,79%) at full speed:
• Bought at a “nice” entry price
• Bought even more and then more at an all-time high! ‼️
• Realized the hype cooling off too late (holding bags they call it?)
With barely any understanding of fundamentals, I threw in real money because “AI is the future,” right?
Zero portfolio managing.
That means Patito held through the gut-wrenching lows…
(-20, -30, -40, -50, -60%) 😭
Waited… hoped… watched the chart dance like a rollercoaster 🎢 for days and weeks and months… thinking if recovery would happen would be by 2050 😅
I was holding 250 shares, feeling every cent tick like a heart monitor.
Eventually, (yesterday) I sold most of my position after some staggered exits last week and ended breakeven — exhausted but wiser. And happy to leave the rollercoaster!
🎓 Lesson?
• 🚩 High hype ≠ high quality
• 🧠 No strategy = high anxiety
• 📉 Hope is not a recovery plan
But I didn’t quit.
I learned.
And Patito kept paddling 🦆📈
PS. Today, I float the remaining 15 shares at zero cost, a symbolical trophy of a newbie trade that almost broke me.
$BBAI (-6,79%) to the moon? 🚀

especially in my first year I was very good at buying like you and than selling at the lowest point.
🚀
$BBAI (-6,79%) Position back in the black ☺️ But why is the rocket actually firing again?
Retirement with...?
Hello everyone,
Do you think it's possible to retire early with the portfolio?
At...80?
I would like to get out of many stocks as soon as I am in the black and reinvest.
The plan is to get out of:
$BBAI (-6,79%) I would like to reduce my position and possibly wait for a new entry.
What is your opinion, what can you recommend?
- I am looking forward to your opinions.
Almost certainly not with your strategy. 😬
