Replication method unclear

$VWCE (+0,64%)

Hello everyone,

The replication method for this ETF is unclear to me.

The getquin app shows full replication.

The broker (Traderepublic) shows sampling as the replication method.

How do I find out which one it is?

Basically I am looking for a world ETF with full replication.

Thank you very much!

In the ETF's data sheet.

@RealMichaelScott Thank you. This means that a "representative quantity" is invested. So sampling.

The information in getquin is therefore not correct.

Do you know of a world ETF with full replication?

@Spiv The question is whether this will help at all with over 3,000 securities: on the one hand, it will not significantly increase performance and, on the other hand, it would make the ETF significantly more expensive.

If you are looking for one with full replication, just take a look here: https://www.justetf.com/de/search.html?search=ETFS&assetClass=class-equity&region=World

@RealMichaelScott It does make a difference if the dividends are reinvested. I also find it helpful for the relevant stocks when a fund is fully invested.
As long as the tracking error is kept within reasonable limits, I wouldn't worry too much about the choice between optimized sampling and full replication.
