Novo Nordisk B not tradable at TR

$NOVO B (-2,81%) is not tradable at Trade Republik. Today I tried to create a savings plan for $NOVO B (-2,81%) in the app today and received the message that this share is not tradable. The message does not appear for the US certificate (ADR). Can anyone explain this to me?

@Cato_Bamboo It doesn't really matter for savings plans. You can create them at any time, as long as the company has not been delisted from the stock exchange.
In contrast to the app, you can create the savings plan in the TR web view. For whatever reason 🤷‍♂️

I find it really weird that people don't realize that the stock exchange is closed on a national holiday. Every transaction (overnight money, etc.) only went through because it's automated.

@Caynify I find it really weird that you can't remain objective. I just want to INVEST in a savings plan, which will then be executed by TR during trading hours.

I have to agree with the author of the thread, you can also place a savings plan with TR outside of trading hours and this is currently not possible with Novo. So the question is definitely justified.

You can create a savings plan with TR despite the public holiday. I've just tried it with Novo B - it works without any problems.

@Monchmichi87 Hmm.....then the question is whether Eric E. still needs some practice......

@Cato_Bamboo He explicitly wrote that it works with the ADR variant and not with B. It does indeed say "trading is halted by exchange".

So with other shares it works without any problems, but not with $NOVO B. Well...

@Cato_Bamboo I think I have enough practice after several years of active investing. Thank you for your help!

A savings plan should work, I can also set one up. But of course I can't trade, the stock exchange is closed.

I am aware that the stock exchange is closed! However, you can create savings plans at any time, as these are only executed during trading hours.
The share is also eligible for savings plans, which I had already saved for in the past.
I was also able to change/create other savings plans.

Occurs from time to time with TR if you want to make changes or create new savings plans outside trading hours.
I had already tried this in the past and now, based on the post here, it doesn't work with Novo B, but it does with others.

I think it's a bug, just try again tomorrow when trading is open again.

I think that since the savings plans already created for January (execution on 02.01.2025) are already stored in the system and the stock exchange is closed today, unfortunately nothing can be executed today.

PS: I just tried it for testing. Everything marked in red and with the text:

"Novo-Nordisk (B) is currently not tradable as it is suspended from trading at the exchange. Trade Republic has no influence on this. You can still create orders, but they may not be executed."

But it's a public holiday 🤷‍♂️
Tomorrow is also a day.

@Bidax The only strange thing is that I was able to create a savings plan for $AMD, for example. This will also be executed tomorrow. I'll just try again tomorrow, maybe a server-side problem. Thanks :)

I have just tested it. I was able to change existing ones without any problems and also create some new ones. But some show the same error message (Rio Tinto, for example).

If you create the savings plan via the web view, it works as normal. I have just tried it out.

I think it's because of today's holiday (New Year) if you're from Germany

Savings plans can be set up with TR at any time, regardless of stock market hours.

Why it is not tradable... I have no idea. I don't follow $NOVO B.

Edit: unless it's not savings plan eligible at all?
