With your current portfolio size, an ETF would make more sense.

•@Sansebastian I have a savings plan in my ETFs every month.
Do you think the ETFs I am currently saving in are suitable or should I diversify?

@Schniggy no, the ETFs fit. If I were you, I would sell the individual shares and put the money into the ETFs

•@Sansebastian I find it quite good to combine both, especially if you still have a lot of time. You can practise a bit with smaller amounts and then don't make the same mistakes when you invest larger sums later on :)

•@ynnxs that makes little sense with a 1k deposit. But that's just my opinion 😎

•I have a slightly different opinion than @Sansebastian. The goal of turning 1,000 euros into 10,000 is exactly the right thing to do, especially if you have time to practise. For example, I started my restart on the stock market in April 2023 with 3,000 euros at the age of 57. I had 10 positions at the start. My investment horizon is 10 years.
Ultimately, the goal and the investment strategy have to fit together and also match your personal risk appetite. You have to feel comfortable with your investment decisions, regardless of what others say.

•I see it differently. 1000€ is the start of something big. I myself started with €500. Now about 6 years later I have 31k and I also have a mix of dividend shares, ETFs and share bets. However, the bets are just a gimmick and only a very small part of my portfolio.
If you want to buy PepsiCo, take a look at how the stock is valued. I recently bought it myself. You just have to be aware that the negotiations with Edeka could still depress the share price or other negative news.
It just depends on what your strategy is. I don't want to sell my dividend shares until I retire, if at all. Then you can also pick up shares that are slightly cheaper. Oh yes, I still have a good 27 years until retirement 😉
