Consumer confidence in the US weakened slightly in May as concerns about high inflation persisted and the assessment of the labor market weakened somewhat, a survey showed on Tuesday.
The Conference Board announced on Tuesday that its consumer confidence index fell to 106.4 for the month. Data for April was revised upward and the index came in at 108.6 instead of 107.3 as previously reported.
