I just got a fright xD Nintendo shares split 1:10. I was already freaking out and wanted to put everything in. How the emotions can grab you. Habs already read and forgotten again, oh man

I would be interested to know how much you would have put in again now and why? If a share has a 90% price loss in one day.

@Krush82 I'm not an ExPeRte, but would (if the split didn't exist) put another €200 to €300 into it. I think Nintendo stands out from the competition and will continue to do so in the future.

Especially when I saw the graph. About -90% Uff, hopefully that plays itself in. Insgsamt 50€ invested and 5€ are left

@RoronoaZoro It doesn't seem quite logical to me😅 If I invest €50 in a share (leaving out the fluctuations) then my total value is €50, regardless of how many shares I have. That's why it seems illogical to me. Before the split I had approx. 0.1 shares, after the split still approx. 0.1 but my total value is suddenly 5,-€ That's why I hope this will be corrected

@DaWed98 Such a split always takes 2-3 days until everything fits with the provider, etc. No worries, just be patient :)

@Kundenservice Is there any news on when you will be entering the data? I received the entry of the new shares from trade republic a week ago. Could it happen that you don't get the data at all?

We have the split in the system :)
If you had shares in your portfolio before the ex-date and the date is entered correctly in our system, the shares will be split automatically.

Here once with a test purchase, which I entered on January 3, 2022.

@Kundenservice I made my first purchase from $NTDOY on 16.05. At trade republic, as I said, it has been changed.
But not here at getquin.

Since it worked in your test, but not for me, I will probably have to enter the split myself somehow. Do I see that correctly?

Edit: just to be sure: I'm talking about the ADR 😅

@Thronar I am referring to the Japanese share, not the US ADR :)
We don't have a split in the system for the ADR because we were told that only the Japanese share splits.
(Strange, but what the heck...)

@Kundenservice the Japanese split is 10:1 while the ADR splits 5:1 as far as I know. In any case, there was a split in the ADR.

Well, the answer only helps me to a limited extent. 😅 I'll probably enter it manually and then probably with the average cost price. From then on, the savings plans can also run normally again.
