A Look Back at June 2026 in *Stern des Wechsels*

šŸ“Š Performance & Markets

At the midpoint of the year, I'm still well below my annual goal.

šŸ† Hot Pick: Nvidia

šŸ‘‘ King Midas Factor: Agnico Eagle

šŸ’¶ 1 Swiss franc was trading at 1.09 euros.

₿ Crypto & Alternative Investments

My $BTC (+0,61%) was approaching my average. That’s why I sold my entire position and then rebuilt it at a lower price.

There were no new buys or sells in Timeless. There’s also no news regarding NFTs and music rights.

šŸ· Winery: No news.

šŸ“ˆ Individual Stocks, ETFs & Savings Plans

🟢 Buy: $PAH3 (+1,53%)

šŸ”“ Sale: $SBUX (+0,08%)

šŸ… Top of the Month: $NA9 (+1,32%)

šŸ“‰ Flop of the Month: $CWR (-0,53%)

šŸš€ Crowdcube & Startups: No news.

🧠 Nao: The savings plans are still ongoing.

🌓 Personal Recap

First, I had to take the car in for its inspection again. After that, I spent two weeks at the North Sea and then three days in Hamburg. If my commute weren’t so long, Hamburg would definitely be my adopted home.

I also finally switched my cell phone plan—10 euros a month feels a lot better than 30 euros.

Today, I also received my employer’s mobility allowance for the first time, amounting to 282 Swiss francs per year was approved.

With the start of the World Cup, I’m back to playing prediction games—this time via Check24 and in the Bitcoin community on Kickstr.

šŸŽ§ Interest Rates, Podcasts & Real Estate

After the ECB raised interest rates, I parted ways with Vivid. The higher interest rates weren’t passed on to customers, and the premium plan is personally too expensive for me.

Having everything with Trade Republic would be easy, but I’d also like a debit card with cashback and a bit more flexibility. That’s why I’m now testing the ZinsPlus account from Unitplus, which currently invests in the Easy € Overnight (BNP Overnight, LU3025345516) and is currently paying 2.58% + cashback. Downside: fee

šŸŽ™ļø Podcast is in Season 3, Episode 1 . Topic: Financial Goals.

šŸ  I’m still saving diligently for the special payment on my mortgage in 2026.

šŸ”® July Outlook

Tomorrow I’m heading to Berlin for the Finch concert. I actually wanted to stop by the getquin headquarters too, but I heard it’s usually pretty quiet there on Fridays. šŸ˜„

In July, all my insurance premiums and the vehicle tax will be debited. I also have a new smartphone on my shopping list.

On July 18, I’ll finally be heading back to the stadium: FC Basel vs. Juventus.

Between August and October, my stock investments will take a planned summer break.

What about you? How was your June?

June 2026 Review: Focus on Holistic Asset Scaling

šŸ“Š Performance & Markets

At the midpoint of the year, I’m still below my annual target.

However, the target remains unchanged, as it has not yet assumed any operational responsibility.

šŸ† Hot Pick: Kioxia
šŸ‘‘ Strategy: Only buy when the stock looks sufficiently expensive.
šŸ’¶ The euro continued to trade at around one euro.

This once again demonstrated the euro’s remarkable relative strength against itself.

šŸ· Winery

The winery performed steadily.

It still doesn’t exist, but once again incurred no costs and prompted no inquiries from the tax office. This makes it one of my most successful investments.

šŸ“ˆ Individual Stocks, ETFs & Savings Plans

🟢 Buy: Stock after a sharp price increase
šŸ”“ Sell: Stock immediately before a sharp price increase
šŸ„‡ Top of the Month: āˆ’0.34%
šŸ“‰ Flop of the Month: +0.54%

The rankings were determined using my proprietary multi-factor model: ā€œWhat fits the headline best.ā€

Several positions were also closely monitored. However, the stock prices largely ignored this monitoring.

🧠 Savings Plans

The savings plans continued to run automatically in June as well.

This meant they were once again the only participants in the portfolio who understood their mandate and executed it without further discussion.

šŸš€ Startups & Crowdinvesting

No news.

Some companies are still working on their product, while others are already preparing for the next round of financing. From an investor’s perspective, the distinction is becoming increasingly academic.

šŸ’¼ Professional Review

I continued to work as an asset manager in June.

The number of clients has now shrunk to one person. She would also like to cancel, but has forgotten her password.

Winners were monitored, losers were reevaluated, and random successes were retroactively documented as strategy.

Several positions are currently not in the red, but rather experiencing a temporary valuation discrepancy with long-term narrative catch-up potential.

Risk management is also working: as soon as a position drops significantly enough, it is no longer opened as frequently.

🌓 Personal Review

The car had to go in for its TÜV inspection.

The inspector found neither a moat nor recurring revenue, but still granted approval after a technical due diligence review.

I also took a trip to the North Sea and to Hamburg. Hamburg would be my perfect adopted home, provided that rent, traffic, weather, and economic realities were somehow removed from the city in the future.

My cell phone plan was reduced from 30 to 10 euros.

The 20 euros I’ve freed up will now be consistently diversified among wealth building, lifestyle inflation, and an unexpectedly expensive lunch.

My employer has also approved a mobility allowance. This brings financial independence closer—as long as it’s located at a transit stop.

šŸŽ§ Interest Rates, Podcasts & Real Estate

After the ECB changed its interest rates, I switched bank accounts.

The new offer combines interest rates, cashback, fees, and several conditions. Finally, a product where—even after signing the contract—it’s still unclear who’s actually paying whom.

The podcast is now in Season 3.

The return on investment is still in the conceptual phase, but the community is growing organically with people who accidentally hit ā€œFollow.ā€

I’m continuing to save for an extra payment on the mortgage. The bank has already been informed about the medium- to long-term threat to its business model.

šŸ“± Consumer Goods & Strategic Tangible Assets

My current smartphone is running smoothly, the battery lasts, and the screen is intact.

After a thorough review, it was decided to put an end to this untenable situation by purchasing a new one.

šŸ”® July Outlook

In July, insurance premiums, vehicle tax, and other payments will be debited—payments whose existence I only become aware of again when they’re debited.

Between August and October, my stock investments will take a summer break.

The market has been asked not to present any opportunities, crises, rallies, or other relevant events during this period.

If you don’t like my investments, you can block me. So far, this is the only position where I consistently leave the decision to exit up to the investor. 😁
