Lotus sold for the time being. At the moment it was difficult, but with hindsight it was probably the right decision.

The Lotus Bakery share has lost over 40% in value in just a few months.

I wanted to share the sale with you a long time ago, but as this is only possible via detours, it has taken longer.

I had Lotus on Trade Republic and Trade Republic can only be updated via the app, which I no longer have access to.

I still find Lotus very exciting and will continue to monitor the situation and am also considering setting up a savings plan, but would first like to understand why there has been such a sharp fall in the share price in recent months.

Never understood how you can spend so much money (valuation ratios) on a cookie bakery. Lotus, for example, would have to increase its profits by +15% for 10 years to be worth a P/E ratio of 40 today. Who believes that?

I can only tell you that they are currently +46% overvalued and should be trading at 4,000 per share. The DCF value is even lower. Market cap 6 billion but FCF only 65 million. P/E RATIO 40! EV/FCF IS 100 đźš©đźš©đźš©đźš©

Lotus is currently undergoing a long-term correction. This offers the best buying opportunities. Unfortunately, I got in a little earlier, but will buy more if necessary.

Didn't you buy the stock at just under €8,000? I can still remember your posts from the beginning of the year where you were absolutely convinced of the value - and now? Sold at 7800€.
I'd like to know the reasons for this and what has changed.
