Tristel plc $TSTL (+0,88%) announced on Monday the commercial launch of 3T Pro, a paid premium version of its digital compliance platform. This marks the company’s first introduction of a subscription model for the software.
The manufacturer of infection prevention products stated in a press release that 3T Pro represents a strategic step toward tapping into recurring digital revenue streams designed to complement its core product portfolio.
Until now, the 3T platform has been available to healthcare providers as a free tool for managing staff training and tracking compliance in conjunction with Tristel’s disinfection products. The platform is developed and maintained by the company’s in-house software team.
With this launch, Tristel is formalizing a three-tier product structure. The basic version remains free and covers the core functions for training and compliance. An intermediate tier combines training management with device traceability. The premium version, 3T Pro, offers advanced customization options, workflows, reporting features, and audit preparation capabilities.
The company announced that it will offer transitional licensing arrangements to existing users of the asset tracking features. Customers who upgrade to 3T Pro will gain access to the advanced functionalities under the standard terms and conditions.
3T Pro’s features include enhanced asset tracking and lifecycle management, dashboards, structured audit reporting, and a data architecture designed for future integrations.
“The launch of 3T Pro is a major milestone for the business,” said Matt Fulford, Group Digital Director at Tristel. “3T has established itself as a reliable compliance tool among our customer base, and we are now able to offer a premium version that reflects the platform’s maturity and meets the growing demands on healthcare providers.”
The company emphasized that the basic version will remain free to promote accessibility and adoption across the healthcare sector.
