Splits litter my beautiful depot

Unilever is now my second split (after 3M). And unfortunately this has littered my portfolio with split shares of $MICC (-1,5%) and $SOLV WI (-1,43%) which don't even pay dividends. To make matters worse, the 9:8 reverse split also leaves me with crooked numbers of shares in $ULVR (-1,49%) .

I HATE CROOKED NUMBERS!

DKB writes that the fractions are treated separately. I can already see the sale of 0.222 shares worth €12.25 coming my way for a "small fee" of €10. Unfortunately, DKB is merciless in this respect (I had the same experience with the 3M split of Solventum).

Who suffers with me?

Fractions from corporate actions should actually be regulated on a cost-neutral basis. DKB is planning to make fractions tradable in the future.

Understand the pain with the crooked numbers. But you can return the fractions to your broker. It's like a sale for you, just not on an exchange. When I returned the last fractions, it was always free of charge for me. Most recently with Onvista and also ING.

You can move the small positions of MICC and Solventum to a NeoBroker (TR, Scalable, Smartbroker) and sell them there for one euro.

The split is announced long enough - you could add enough beforehand so that there is no denomination

Yes, it's unattractive. I would tidy up to have visual peace again - despite the fees. I have exactly the same problem with odd numbers and fractions. There's no other way with savings plans, but as soon as a position is 'full' there, I also straighten it out to something sensible.
Otherwise it just annoys me. I'm totally fed up with that too. 💥
