Investment in shipping

Today I put 700 shares $WAWI (-1,46%) into my portfolio today. Originally I wanted to buy a larger position in the $BOAT (-0%) - ETF, but unfortunately it is probably difficult to buy this security in a regular German custody account as the ETF has not issued a fact sheet for the European market.

I am now building up a small portfolio of shipping stocks myself and will see how it develops or whether my fleet goes under.

So far I have bought:

325 x Torm ($TRMD A (+1,27%) ), tanker

750 x Wallenius Wilhelmsen ($WAWI (-1,46%)), car ferries and logistics

I would like to add the following in perspective:

Hafnia ($HAFNI (+0,85%) ), Tanker

ZIM Integrated Shipping ($ZIM (-0,29%) ), Shipping and Logistics

MPC Container Ships ($MPCC (-1,12%) ), container ships

Interesting sector and a courageous approach to enter at the moment. I already like this sector because of the dividends ☝️😇, but have gradually reduced my investments in recent months. $HAUTO I still hold a smaller position and am now waiting for the figures and the dividend announcement, $MPCC is again within the range of an entry. They are a little less susceptible to disruption due to intra-regional trading if the 🍊 should go crazy again. Good luck, I'm still watching the whole thing from the sidelines

@Novius at 1.05 😇😅, joking aside, I bought it at the beginning of 24 and got out again in November at just under 2. The dividend cuts this year were the right decision, I'm waiting for the next figures and dividend announcements, just like at $HAUTO. At 1.30 to 1.35, I can imagine a re-entry in principle. The share lives from the dividend and nothing else, you should be aware of that. If you basically want to invest in the sector then look for something else.

@Dividendenopi I recently reduced my $HAUTO holdings by >50% because they were doing well. Now I'm waiting to see where there is a good opportunity in the sector. I only buy these stocks because of the dividend
