Hi zusammen gerade ist die Eilmeldung eingetroffen, dass Tiktok ihre US Geschäfte an eine US Firma verkaufen muss. So die Supreme Court Entscheidung. Wer könnte mögliche Kandidaten sein? Denkt ihr $META wäre ein guter Kandidat?

We have just received the breaking news that Tiktok will have to sell its US business to a US company. This is the Supreme Court decision.

Who could be possible candidates?

I'm also guessing Alphabet.
Especially with the option of using TikTok for short videos and YouTube for longer content, but all under one roof.

Well, the whole Tiktok bubble has switched to Rednote as a kind of protest, it's basically a Chinese Tiktok. Under the motto "well, then we'll just give our data to the Chinese government directly without any detours". The situation is incredibly funny right now

I could well imagine that Bytedance will not sell Tiktok at all.
As far as I read on ntv earlier, Bytedance is assuming that they will switch off TokTok in the USA on Sunday.
