Moin,

I would be interested in what you say about my portfolio, I am now 18 years young and only a few months on the stock market :)

The small positions are still being expanded.

I now plan to get a World ETF (which I should have done earlier).

In addition I am rather on it on long period tidy dividends to drive in, the question would be now which you would recommend. Rather only a World ETF, gladly also distributing ($VWRL (-0,07%) currently in view and unsure whether I should add another ETF, if so which one would you recommend).

Or what I would prefer at the moment is the $VHYL (-0,55%) with the $FUSD (+0,23%) because I think that another World ETF too many overlaps with the $VHYL (-0,55%) would have.

What do you think about it rather a World ETF with 2% distribution or the High Dividend ETF?

Thank you😁

All World and that's it. You are too young for high dividends. Better to focus on price and dividend growth now and benefit from high dividends compared to the entry price when you are older.

@DonkeyInvestor Okay thank you:) Would you take the distributing?

@philipp_ktz if you want dividends, yes. Otherwise no
@DonkeyInvestor Sorry that I ask again😅Abwr you would then only the All World purely pack or another? Thank you already times!

@philipp_ktz donkey also gave another good tip: Dividend Growth Investing. look for stable companies with low payout ratios that still have some growth ahead of them. see what kind of dividend growth they have (=dividend growth rate). hold them for the long term (at least ten, better twenty, thirty years - shouldn't be a problem at your age, lol).

Watch the dividends grow. Examples are Lowe's and Home Depot and AO Smith in the US or Alimentation Couche Tard in Canada. Dividends don't look that great now, but they will in a few years. Takes some research, but it's a good idea if you want to generate income in the long run.
@Robwe Yes, I'll deal with it now more, must still come in something :) But thank you very much!

At 18, increasing the savings rate is much more crucial than whether dividends or not. Get your portfolio to 100k first, then you can look again. :)

@philipp_ktz it does not hurt to save only the All World

Dividends/ distributions are more likely to be made when you already have assets to build wealth savings plan and accumulate.

@DonkeyInvestor Probably not, but whether it will do any good?

You have picked great companies, stick with it, focus on finding really good companies and buying them at a fair price. in my opinion you don't need ETFs, screw high yield dividends. at 18 you want growth in all forms. payout at 25-30% of FCF like Microsoft, that's what you look for as a young dividend lover.
