Hey, I've been holding $VBTC (-2,4%)as I only benefit from the BTC performance, but the work with a new crypto exchange etc. was too time-consuming for me at the time.
I had already come to terms with the fact that I would have to pay tax on the profits for a while. However, I had also read the opposite in some cases, namely when the ETC/ETN actually holds BTC and you can theoretically have them delivered to you.
I made a small partial sale yesterday as a test and lo and behold, only the costs of the sale were deducted and no taxes were withheld.
In future, I will be using Bitavo and Strike to save costs.

When selling cryptos including ETNs, brokers generally do not withhold tax, regardless of how long you have held them. You must keep a record of purchases, sales, holding periods and profits yourself and include them in your income tax return. Only then will you be taxed.
I've lowered my position a little. In June I needed to put money away somewhere before the holidays and here we made a decent profit in those 4 months.
I bought the VanEck Bitcoin ETN $VBTC (-2,4%) with a TER of 1%. However, I plan $BTC (+0,51%) to hold until after the 2028 halving, so I "lose" 1% of the price every year due to the high TER. I have now bought a crypto broker... what do you think, just sit out the 1% TER or sell the ETN and use the money (minus taxes, mind you) to buy BTC again directly via the broker, without TER? Finally a sell-out of the certificate. I've had BTC in my portfolio as a direct buy for a long time, but didn't want to realize any losses. Now the capital has made a small profit and I had the perfect dips to reinvest!
