Janet Yellen, in an interview with Fox

said that the single biggest contributor to inflation will decline this year. However, she warned that the decline the inflation may not "proceed smoothly".

Yellen emphasized that the inflation may be a bumpy return to normality could lead to a bumpy return to normal. She went on to explain that she estimated that rentsthe biggest contributor to inflationwill fall this year.

Philip Morris International $PM (+2,66%) has made a $16 billion takeover bid for rival Swedish Match $SWMA which is best known for producing smokeless "snus." Shares of Swedish Match $SWMA have seen a 32% premium since the talks were announced. This product is currently not approved for sale in the EU, with the exception of Sweden, but the move is part of PMI's push to diversify beyond tobacco-based products.
