Hello everyone, I am currently investing via Trade Republic and would like to add gold to my portfolio in order to diversify more broadly. What options are there for investing in gold via Trade Republic? It is important to me that I can sell tax-free after a 1-year holding period. I have already read a few times about $IGLN (+0,2%) here on the forum. Do you see it as a good way to invest in gold and could someone confirm that the sale is tax-free after one year?

I am too scalable for that. I only hold the $EWG2 there. Everything else via TR.

@user1d7gf8465j461735 EWG2 is tax-free in Germany after a holding period of one year, as it offers a physical delivery option. In addition, it has no TER. I don't know the spread of the IGLn at the moment, but I could imagine that the $EWG2 is a bit more expensive.

The one you mentioned does not seem to be one of them.

As @SchlaubiSchlumpf has written, $EWG2 is available at Scalable. Unfortunately, TR does not have one.
