Support the Swiss Economy

I bought a few more shares during this sell-off. I’ve always found ABB very interesting, and with their production of machinery, robotics, motors, etc., they’re in higher demand than ever. ABB was also one of the first stocks I ever bought, and back then I only had 3 shares. Since I believe in the company’s future and success, I’ve now added to my position😁

Edit: I should be investing more in Switzerland anyway, since my portfolio is extremely US-heavy. I don’t want to be dependent on the Americans😬. And we have great companies here too, like $ROP (-1,81 %) , $NOVN (+1,32 %) , $NESN (-0,54 %) , $ABBN (+1,98 %) , $LOGN (+1,18 %) , $SLHN (+0,5 %) and $LISN (-0,43 %)

Those Swiss always stay out of everything, and they're in better economic shape than my beautiful Austria. I'll be damned if I'm going to support their economy 👍

For similar reasons, I’ve supplemented my global portfolio—which is based on market cap—with an SPI ETF (15% weighting). I believe Swiss companies are solid and help balance out the overweight in tech and U.S. stocks. More exposure to consumer staples, pharmaceuticals, financials, industrials, etc., plus a slight reduction in currency risk and tax advantages (full refund of withholding tax for funds domiciled in Switzerland).

So far, I only have one Swiss stock: from the Zurich Zoo.

I hold Swiss companies primarily through ETFs in my third pillar.

@MWS You probably got those because of the free annual admission to the zoo☺️ The "stock" isn't listed on the stock exchange, after all—you can only buy it on the zoo's website😃
