1. Cryptocurrency crash devalues Ukraine’s government crypto fundraise
Following the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February, the Ukrainian government used social media to ask for cryptocurrency donations. However, the cryptocurrency crash has caused a significant drop in the value of the total raised. Ukraine has continued to rally investors this week at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

2. NFL renews sponsorship deal with Pepsi
Pepsi, under food and beverage giants PepsiCo $PEP (+0,47 %) have renewed their sponsorship deal with the National Football League (NFL), however they have not retained the right to the Super Bowl half time show. CNBC has reported that the NFL could seek up to $50m for these rights. Pepsi $PEP (+0,47 %) has retained right, such as pouring rights at top NFL events, and their sports drink subdivision Gatorade remains ever-visible on the sidelines.

3. Pfizer to sell patented drugs at non-profit price
Following criticism regarding their Covid vaccine, Pfizer $PFE (-0,73 %) has announced that they will be making all of their patented medicines available at cost-price to 45 of the world’s poorest countries. This includes Cominarty, the COVID-19 vaccine, Covid treatments, among others. $PFE (-0,73 %) has also announced that when they launch new medicines and vaccines, these 45 countries will also be included in the portfolio at a non-for-profit price. Some of this was announced at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
