Nvidia is raising prices by 15%

$NVDA (-2,63 %)

The server systems of Spitzenchips are affected Vera Rubin and Grace Blackwell, which will be delivered . The amount varies depending on the chip generation and memory configuration. The reason cited is the extremely high prices for RAM ($MU (-5,19 %)$SKHY (-4,98 %)$005930). As a result, part of the value creation in the AI stack is shifting downward—away from the computing chip and toward memory. Just how much of this NVIDIA itself is absorbing is likely to be reflected in the gross margin in the quarterly report on August 26 .

Overall, , this affects hyperscalers like Neoclouds and AI labs, which consequently face even higher costs —because Nvidia chips represent the largest cost factor in AI data centers.

Consequently, GPU rental prices will also continue to rise, which will have a neutral effect for these companies.

The extremely expensive financing, which continues to be weighed down by macroeconomic uncertainty. This price increase further adds fuel to the fire. 🔥

$GOOGL (+1,29 %)$AMD (-3 %)$INTC (-3,15 %)$MSFT (+1,24 %)$META (+1,18 %)$IREN (-2,49 %)$CRWV (-1,26 %)$NBIS (-3,4 %)$AVGO (-1,99 %)

Everyone is still laughing at Michael Burry. But even with the financial crisis, he was two years too early, and everyone thought he was crazy.
But he has a point.

@Olli68 That's right. Even I've become skeptical by now—and I'm a die-hard Neocloud bull... I'm currently considering reducing my position. (I have ~50% of my portfolio allocated to it.)

@Pazzzi I know. I’ve commented on your posts a bit critically from time to time. 😉
But this accounting window-dressing has already reached the hyperscalers and even my favorite— $GOOGL. It’s gotten pretty extreme.

@Pazzzi I've also scaled back my AI-Trade investments significantly. I made a good return on them, but I'm no longer as optimistic about CRV's short- and medium-term prospects.

@Olli68 The biggest risk comes from the U.S. president, who is playing games with Iran—war and tariffs—as if there were no consequences....

@Olli68 If this keeps up for another two years, we'll be so high that a crash is likely—and prices will probably drop to today's levels. So, easy 😬

@wealth_maximizer_1220 It won't take another two years.
@Olli68 How do we prepare? Completely on the sidelines?

@wealth_maximizer_1220 We'll see. In any case, I'm going to take cover in time this time.

@wealth_maximizer_1220 Why would you want to completely sit on the sidelines? There are stocks that go up in almost every market condition. You just have to structure your portfolio accordingly.
@jkb92 Theoretically, that's true. But finding the exact stocks that won't crash in a major market crash isn't that easy either. Do you have any specific ones in mind?

exactly. As I said in my post: https://getqu.in/ohy7IC/, Nvidia is one of the main pillars of the AI ecosystem. Your post shows it well: any change in Nvidia pricing, supply or margins can impact the whole AI stack.....
