Simple portfolio for my wife

Good morning!

My wife wants to invest a partial amount (around 50k) for the long term after selling an apartment. She wants to keep it as simple as possible and doesn't want to deal with it for the next 30 years.

So I was thinking of a 1etf portfolio that is as broadly diversified as possible.

What do you think? $VWCE (-5,52 %) and chill? $ISAC (-4,53 %) ? $SPYY (-4,52 %) ?

Should I add gold or something similar?

Thanks and lg

I would put everything into the $VWCE - there's no better way to invest 😁

@Justin_karacic Only someone who has never experienced a -60% drawdown can say that.😅

As an alternative to $VWCE, I would also consider $FWRG. It is a good deal cheaper in terms of fees and is based on the same index. It is therefore more or less the same product with lower costs.
@Webda Thanks for the tip

An ETF is usually one asset class, is usually less diversified.
80% Allworld, 20% gold should bring significant calm to the portfolio.
@Epi Thank you very much, which gold product can you recommend? An etc like euwax?

@dividend_hero_100 $EWG2 is the best product in Germany, no TER, tax-free delivery.
@Epi I'll have to see what it looks like for Austria, thanks

@dividend_hero_100 In my opinion, this does not work in Austria. I have only found a certificate on Flatex. If you find out more than I did, please let me know. Thank you 😀
Hm yes, it looks like it.
