I am using the declines to gradually build my position back up to its old size after taking profits. Yesterday I bought at €45.50. The next one would be due at €42 and then another one below €40

@BamBamInvest what I could have seen for two last weeks, it is mostly driven by btc movements. Once btc is back above 100k eur, I bet iren would be back at 70usd level at least. Of course the q3 earning calls may change everything sooner as we think😀

@burnheart Yes, the SL was a limit SL This means it was €48 with a limit of €50. This means that the sale is only executed when the share reaches €50 again. I do this more often when I expect a quick rebound, especially intraday. It also has the charming advantage that you can delete the order even after the SL has been triggered if it has not yet reached the limit price. It did. It even rose again to 52. And then I set buy limits about 10% lower, staggered. And I was able to make good use of the allowances and loss pots when I sold, so that I only paid €16 in tax despite the larger gains. Who knows whether the closer it gets to the end of the year I'll be able to make full use of them. I didn't sell because I'm no longer fundamentally convinced, but to take a few profits off the table and, in the best-case scenario, to be able to re-enter the market 10-20% lower. It looks good so far. And if $IREN reaches $90 in 2026, I will have new allowances. I'm calculating in %, not in absolute figures. For example, I have a portfolio with Trading 212, where I often buy stocks that have lost 5, 10 or more % in one day and then sell them again a few days later with a 10-20% profit. Of course, this doesn't always work. If you are convinced of a stock, you can always buy dips of 5 or 10%, even if €2.50 or €5 doesn't seem like much. Many things play a role in my considerations as to when I sell or not. This distinguishes my actions from the many buy&hold investors who think I'm crazy or don't know what they're doing! The only thing that counts for me at the end of each year is the net return in % after tax! That's different from the goal of building up a portfolio of 500 TE with monthly savings installments over 40 years. You and everyone else here must never forget that. But you can rest assured, in 90% of cases I know what I'm doing and it makes sense in terms of my goal. But not at all for others.

@Schubidu3000 well that is difficult to judge, if you want to hold until the end of next year, I think we will probably be much higher. I also believe that we will see a new ATH by the end of the year, but could be volatile in between. Maybe enter in 2-3 tranches and buy on red days. With a possible China deal, interest rate cut and further expansion of the money supply through bond issuance, things could go round again by the end of the year. As far as I know, Nov is historically the best/one of the best stock market months ✌️.

Good morning! I hope that at least the 47% support will hold and that we will then slowly move again :) I am still very convinced. Looking forward to the earnings, unfortunately not until mid-November, which would probably be the turnaround. Unfortunately, I can't imagine a deal being announced before the earnings. I'm thinking about buying again soon

@MaxtheCat nothing has fundamentally changed, it was clear that a correction would come at some point. If you don't start to accumulate then when? It can go down even further, of course, the 200 MA should be somewhere around $44 - $45, at the latest that's where it turns in my opinion. Letting the air out doesn't hurt, it's been pretty overbought. But I don't think it will fall that far, we will see ✌️

@undraiser_1981 Why should it not recover at some point? Everyone buys at the high and as soon as it falls 20-30% everyone gets nervous ? So never buy anything without having convinced yourself. If they can play out their capacities by 2027, we are still cheap now. Can it go wrong? Of course we have high volatility here ? Sure we can correct 50-70% ? Sure . You have to be aware of that, so think about your investment case and how long you want to hold ✌️

I am honest and have been hyped by the recommendations here and got carried away without doing much research myself, but I am still a newcomer to the stock market genre myself and that may have been a mistake to let myself get infected...but I am learning from this and will become active myself with research! It's clear that everything can fall and rise at any time...
But I'll put my nervousness about Irish aside and hope for good results in other weeks/months! Thank you very much for your message and research 🙏🏼

@fund_manager_2699 there are 100 people 🤣 you have to search, or preferably search with the ticker. I always search for companies first and then I look at what is written about them, what the assessments and opinions are and then I form my own opinion through my own research. Lately, however, I haven't said much that I have to have, especially at the valuation level. I find $NVO exciting, especially for 2026 with the oral drugs. Only with the heavyweight do I have to adjust the position size accordingly so that it has an impact and I don't have the capital free or don't know what to sacrifice, as I see the same potential return with the other companies and am a bit spoiled this year. November/December in particular are generally not bad stock market months, so I don't want to hold too much cash ✌️

@fund_manager_2699 If you're interested in IREN, take a look at FransBakker. He's great, not your typical finfluencer. He also follows the construction of all the data centers via satellite images, is sometimes directly on site, etc. :)
