1. Denmark first country to halt covid-vaccination program
Denmark has become the first country so far to halt its Covid vaccination program, as officials say that the virus is now under control. “Vaccine coverage in the Danish population is high” says the Danish Health Authority, while they acknowledge the need to invite people to be vaccinated might need to resume in the autumn.

2. China signals easing of tech squeeze in bid to lift economy
China has signalled that they will begin to ease their crackdown on the tech sector, as President Xi Jinping aims to bolster and support the economy amid lockdowns, which have hampered growth. Optimism has also risen, as there are reports that China’s top leaders will hold a symposium early next month with a number of internet companies.
