What do you think of $IBIT ? I'm thinking about investing 200€/month in crypto only. I started a few months ago (different coins) and it's fun. However, buying Bitcoin directly is currently too hot for me.

So, would you prefer to invest directly in coins or in the Bitcoin ETF?

Thank you!

Why is it too hot to invest directly in Bitcoin and ok to invest in an ETF (in DE only ETP/ETC) that costs management fees every year and you don't even have the advantage of the one-year holding period? That would be way too hot for me.
There are so many good crypto exchanges. I am Bitvavo and very satisfied.

The thing has no German approval and is therefore not tradable here.

I would buy Bitcoin first, at least a quarter coin,(forget the price it’s exponential it will go up) but I bought some two day ago, It obviously has amazing upside since its holdings are 100 percent Bitcoin. Besides this I’ll flip and buy when I feel, my Bitcoin is in my almost/never sell portfolio, Buy with confidences, this ETF will show tenacious upside over time, I believe.

There are ETCs or ETPs that are tradable in the EU, e.g. GB00BLD4ZL17

can someone explain to me what is the purpose of an ETF on bitcoin only? maybe I didnt understand it corectly, but as i see this:
you buy an ETF with a yearly cost so they hold bitcoin for you.....why not just buy bitcoin yourself with 0 cost instead?
I can see the purpose with gold, so you dotn have to physically store gold yourself with all risk involved. nowday is pretty safe to store bitcoin by yourself

$IBIT is tradable in Switzerland. I've even had it in a 3A pension plan at 5% since the beginning of the year, rebalanced = profits are skimmed off and put into the other ETFs...
