🌴 Personal review

April was characterized by a lot of work and some overtime, but the salary is still a long time coming due to the unpaid month.

A small damper on everyday life: our coffee machine gave up the ghost after four years. For a €700 Siemens machine, I would have hoped for more. We now have a replacement from De'Longhi.

I also went to the tattooist and integrated a bit more sport back into my daily routine.

From a performance perspective, it was the strongest April since 2021.

🎧 Interest rates, podcasts & real estate

There was no news at Vivid.

The old podcast is in Season 3 Episode 1 is all about financial goals.

In the area of real estate, we are currently working on the special repayment 2026 is currently being saved.

🔮 Outlook for May

  • Adjustment of the savings plans
  • Appointment with the tax consultant
  • Whisky and meat tasting

@Koenigmidas approx. 100€ gross, of which it feels like only 50€ net more 😂

@Simpson I was also happy about more pay the year before last
End result I am now allowed to make advance tax payments 🤣 I think I'll go to the boss and say I need more

@GoDividend i have been used to making tax prepayments for many years.
@GoDividend However, advance tax payments due to wage increases are not really normal.

@Solitair several things came together🤣 but once over 400€ back payment and two you can advance

After March, it's also good to see that things have turned around in the portfolio and you can see the highs. I am also pleased about the good direction

Things went well in terms of my portfolio, nothing happened professionally. There was no pay rise either, only in July if it comes as announced. otherwise I had to look for a new apartment. The new one is more expensive and smaller. The rent is paid from the dividends 😀 In May there will be a few more major expenses due to new furniture

@Solitair Why did you have to look for a new apartment?
@Koenigmidas There was a new owner, but I only found out about this through an eviction action. It probably wouldn't have gone through if I'd stood up on my hind legs. But firstly, I didn't feel so comfortable in the apartment anyway, because the environment here hasn't necessarily changed for the better in recent years, and secondly, I don't feel like living in such conditions anymore anyway.
The new apartment is in a smaller residential unit and in a quieter area. I was also thinking of maybe cashing out part of my portfolio and buying one. But I don't know much about real estate and the damage would be far greater if I were to buy than if I were to rent an apartment, which I could simply give notice on and move somewhere else. So I remain flexible.

@Solitair I'm sorry about that. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether to own or rent🙃

How are your NAO savings plans going? How has the performance been since the start?
Imagen de perfil
@Cyonix I have 10 savings plans there. Of these, 3 are currently in the plus. The largest is up 1.8% and the largest is down 1.7%, so it's pretty balanced. What bothers me more is that I sent money to the clearing account at the beginning, some of which is still blocked for payout. I thought the savings plans would be transferred to the clearing account, but they are debited via direct debit. Customer service has been informed and will be changed in the future.
