BYD in Germany?

I have to be honest, I've actually noticed more and more BYDs on the road lately. $1211 (+3,82 %) on the road lately. A while ago it was a rarity, now it's not a habit, but at least it sounds like it could become one....

What do you think? Above all @SAUgut777 is right at the forefront. I was in it for a while, but then switched to something more promising.

It might make sense to get back in.

In the future there will be many more, from buses to cars, and wait until the whole expansion really takes off....

@SAUgut777 that practically screams for a new entry 🙈

@Johannes1993 Everyone has to decide for themselves, but I am and will remain invested here.

@SAUgut777 Take a look at Zittau! The regional public transport association there has ordered 70 eBuses from them - significantly more expensive to purchase, but only 1/3 of the cost of running them. That will be the door opener!

Thank you for your contribution! 🤗
I looked into BYD a few months ago and decided against investing.
I am simply suspicious of the interference of the state (China). I have no idea how the business would run without all the direct and indirect subsidies. And the price war for EVs will cause everyone to lose ground. Sure, BYD will not disappear from the market. But it won't be a sure-fire success either.
BYD remains on my watch list for the time being.

@KohleKompass BYD is only just starting to conquer the markets outside China, so looking in the rear-view mirror will hurt at some point.

@SAUgut777 I've put them on my watch list (which is bursting at the seams) and will keep an eye on their progress over the next few weeks 😊

@Johannes1993 my watchlist is the same 🫣 ...but at some point it's always too late 😉

It's only going so slowly here because, for example, we have massive political tariffs on cars and are also world champions in electricity prices. Otherwise the street scene would be wild :)

@Tobiwankenobi500 It really is like that - I drive an electric car myself. If the electricity costs were lower, even more people would be in them and my grin would be even bigger. Although the sound of a proper V8 also has something going for it 😅

@Johannes1993 yes, we don't need to talk about the emotional component. Technology prevails, without subsidies - but the socialists/communists here don't understand that 😅

I can only confirm the visual diagnosis, I also noticed that there are more and more BYDs to be seen in Berlin traffic.

@Roccola601 Luckily I don't have any hallucinations 🤣😎

@Roccola601 hopefully the lost capital will soon have electricity again to charge the BYDs :D
