Novo sell

While the Greenland case may not end, it’s too risky to hold Novo. Even though I believe in the company’s long-term potential.

And what if they do reach an agreement?

@WarrenamBuffet then I will repurchase the stock. But now, it is a 50-50 and I don’t like this type of gambling 🤞
Thrump is always a bully negotiator. The best example on to deal with him calling his bluff like the Chinese did.

Are you a long term trader or investor?

@Tuffbet I mostly look for long term opportunities, but if this situation cannot be solved, then it ruins the whole long term picture of the company, because it is highly dependent on the US market.

@misinvest you Are not a long term investor.

Geopolitics is just noise. Remember the TACO rule: Trump Always Chickens Out. And even in a worst-case scenario, they can always shift production to the US in the long run

@M3nt4list if this happens, then I am fully convinced by the company and I would happily repurchase the stock. Moreover, if the worst case scenario happens, it will be a much lower entry price 🙏

I did more Research:
Here is the short summary of why the threatened tariffs will likely not affect Novo Nordisk:

The "Made in USA" Shield: Novo doesn't just import; they have massive local production (North Carolina). Companies that invest billions and create jobs in the US are usually spared by Trump ("America First").

The Catalent Deal: By acquiring filling plants in Indiana, they effectively become a domestic US manufacturer. This allows them to bypass import tariffs for their most important product (Wegovy).

Political Immunity: Tariffs typically target cars or steel. Essential medicines are almost never hit with punitive tariffs because that would punish the administration's own voters (patients).

Conclusion: Their US production is your insurance policy. Novo is effectively "Trump-proof."

Big mistake in my opinion

No chance there will be further tariffs on insulin, unless Trump wants the US population to get sicker and even fatter. Im personally adding to Novo, time will tell.
