Daiichi Receives EU Approval for Enhertu

$4568 (+2,36 %) The stock has fallen significantly today, at times reaching as low as -10%. Yet there is positive news: Enhertu has now been officially approved in the EU and China as a treatment for breast cancer. I couldn’t find any explanation for why the stock is falling despite this. I don’t really care, though—my investment thesis remains intact, and I’m still targeting 2030 and Datroway. But I’m happy to take news like this in stride. My break-even point has been reached again; if the price drops further, I’ll consider buying more here.

Current price: €14.78

From a technical standpoint, it's starting to get a little sluggish for me. It just can't seem to break out to the upside. I hope the range holds and doesn't break down.Y

@jkb92 Technically, though, I don't care, since I'm in this for at least until 2030—unless there's a fundamental announcement that undermines my original investment thesis. I didn't get into this to trade. Especially since holding the stock is made more appealing by a nice dividend. The news flow is positive, too, so I'm relaxed about it.

I’d say the stock is falling mainly because the future may no longer look quite as bright. Revenue is still growing at a healthy rate (>10%), but it’s steadily declining. On top of that, the margin has plummeted due to misallocation of capital (production/capacity) for the cancer drug—things fell through a bit there because of poor execution. Now we’ll just have to see if growth remains strong and if, at the end of the day, profits hold up without further pressure on margins. I think the drop in the stock price is mainly due to the current uncertainty, and investors want to see if management can deliver again in the future.
