Insider buying after share price crash

At $TMV (+0,25 %) there were several insider purchases by four different people following the massive sell-off. CEO Oliver Steil was one of the buyers.

The company is fundamentally valued very favorably on paper for a software AI group.

The massive buying by insiders ultimately also confirms that day-to-day business is going well.

We ourselves have Teamviewer as the largest single position in our value portfolio.

What do you think? Where is the journey heading?

I think the insiders took their chance to buy cheaply again before it goes steeply up again...

@Tuffbet or they are desperate
Imagen de perfil
@Therapeut then they would be more likely to sell, at least it wouldn't be a rational decision if you know it's going down the drain.

@fiducation well, you know that we have the insight into your purchases :)
I.e. if you buy now just because they buy, they could sell again
Imagen de perfil
@Therapeut aha, everyone would see that too 😅

@Therapeut If you invest, you have to be optimistic, otherwise you can leave it alone. Everyone has to decide for themselves how to choose...

@Tuffbet Good luck with TeamViewer

I wouldn't be blinded by the insider purchases for the time being. The CEO bought Verbio a few years ago at over €80. The share is currently trading at under €20.

@Sansebastian We would have held the position regardless of the insider buying and will expand it if the opportunity arises, so we are definitely not blinded by this. It's just another indication of a possible undervaluation.
I think it's a good trade ... but I have doubts about the long-term value of Teamviewer. Where is the technology going to go in the next 10 years ... the lock-in with customers is not infinitely deep (they could just switch to the emerging competition).
Proof me wrong... but I see no reason to include Teamviewer in my long-term value portfolio.

@Creek You are certainly right about SMB for pure IT maintenance work. For larger corporations, the software application is much more extensive. From cash register systems to VR glasses in production, there tends to be even more digitalization and remote maintenance required.
@fiducation OK. I'll have a look at the rest ... and think about recording them again :D

What is half of 6? That's right, three.

@gloinvest what is half of an empty comment, half a comment.

Is there a competitor that does it better than Teamviewer?
Imagen de perfil
@Kay88 There is AnyDesk in the SMB area, whether it is better remains to be seen, in the enterprise area Teamviewer is much more broadly positioned.
