The $BTC cycle has been broken, and I know that I know almost nothing :)

I thought I could read the market. I thought the 4-year cycle would work again. Spoiler: Of course, not this time.

The market does whatever it wants, and my most important insight is: Market timing works (once again) .

Instead of panicking now, I’m refocusing on the fundamentals:

Bitcoin’s use case is intact. The long-term thesis holds. Concerns remain minimal.

That’s why I just added another 2k CHF to my portfolio.

Yes, my crypto allocation is currently massively overweight. BUT:

As soon as $BTC (-0,03 %) it breaks through 100k USD in the long term, I’ll shift more of my future cash flows into stocks to rebalance the risk.

I don’t want to let the opportunity presented by Bitcoin’s potential just slip away. That’s why I’m investing in Bitcoin now—if things go wrong, life will just go on without it...

Is your portfolio also currently crypto-heavy, or are you sticking mainly to stocks? 💬

To what extent has the 4-year cycle broken down? It hasn't even been 4 years since the last ATH.

I see this quite often here: Once the price hits 100k, I’ll shift my BTC into ACWI or just invest in ACWI from then on.

Would that actually work if the majority wanted it? 🤔

A maximum of 5% of the total portfolio should be allocated to crypto during the crypto winter. It’s important to ensure there is sufficient exit liquidity when investing in crypto.
