Protection?

As regular writers with many followers, we want to set a good example here, as we have already done today. @BamBamInvest I would like to inform you that today I have set SL or TSL prices for all positions that I consider vulnerable and that are more than 100% up.

These include

$IREN (+11,25 %) TS limit 48€

$UUUU (-0,32 %) Stop limit 18,5€

$ONDS (+3,62 %) Stop limit 7$

$NBIS (+9,49 %) TSL 93€

$USAR Stop Limit 28$

I have not used chart marks as a guide, as I believe that they are not meaningful after these brilliant rises.

Instead, I have set myself minimum profit levels that I would like to secure.

I am still convinced of all these stocks, but I don't want to end up empty-handed at some point.

I realized D Wave today as a close doubler. I also threw it out of the future pie for the time being. With so many speculative stocks that I currently hold, I unfortunately had to sort one out. $IREN I will continue to hold $BMNR, $BBAI, $CRWV and the others for the time being without sl, but I will take some pressure off and secure profits

I personally still believe in the shares, especially $IREN. However, as I bought at an unfortunate point, it is now down 20%. I won't sell, but will I buy more? What happened last night and how do you see the future of $IREN?

@RepublicTrader I see the future well. What is happening at the moment is what always happens in such phases. When there is uncertainty, the first stocks to be sold are those that have recently outperformed the market.
I have placed my buy order at $IREN below €40. Let's see if we get there?

Hedging is very important for risky positions that have performed extremely well. Thank you for your impulse yesterday.

My SL took hold at IREN this morning. I got out with additional purchases at +260% (initial entry: +575%). The German government was also pleased with the nice tax income.

I still believe in IREN and will also look for a re-entry. But at the moment panic is spreading (overvalued stocks, AI bubble, banking crisis in the USA?) and the downside potential for growth stocks is simply too high for me.

Statistically speaking, October is the most volatile month for the S&P and then leads into the year-end rally in November. It will have to go up again here. I have seen a statistic in which the fund managers currently have the worst performance for years. They are forced to make gains at the end of the year. This will probably put more air into the "bubble".

PS: I don't believe in a bubble, but in overheating, which the market is currently dealing with.

@BamBamInvest I only sold 60%. And by cleverly buying and selling via different securities accounts, with different pots and allowances, I paid a total of exactly 0.6% tax on the profits on all sales. There must be advantages to having so many securities accounts.

@Nevs1848 I primarily set mental SLs based on the share price, without actually placing orders, to avoid being unintentionally stopped out by a short dip.
Only when I want to hedge profits, such as recently with $IREN or $UUUU and $NBIS, do I work with entered SLs or even more likely with TSLs

I have just done the same, $IREN stop at € 47, I am not invested in the others. But I have also set stops at $AMD and others. I have the feeling that you can expect anything tonight. See $BTC

Joking aside, I don't think that's wrong right now. Nobody knows what Trump is currently discussing with the Russians, and even less what news will come out of his speech tonight.
I'm also still struggling to secure at least small profits with SL before things turn around completely, even though I actually wanted to turn my back on this strategy.
Now I'm having doubts again. 🙈
