Sale of Aixtron

$AIXA (-11,5 %)

Hello, everyone,

Even though it looks like Aixtron has bottomed out, and the estimates for future profit growth look very good,

I don’t see much more upside potential at a P/E ratio of 53 for now.

Perhaps in the coming weeks, I’ll add a more diversified machinery manufacturer—such as $AMAT (-6,66 %) Applied Materials, might find its way into my portfolio.

My friends, what do you think of this rebalancing plan?

It's never a bad idea to take your winnings. Too bad you missed out on the €60.

@Keineui Yeah, that's true—I really did sell relatively late. But I had already taken profits on Aixtron once earlier this year. And you should be satisfied with what you have. If I can pick up Applied Materials at a slightly lower price, I think it's a good alternative, too. And the signs are looking pretty good for that.

@Tenbagger-Capital, what do you think of $VNP? Would you like to take a look at it? I don't feel confident enough to analyze it myself😬😅

@RenaTess I'll take a look at that

Congratulations, my dear! :-)

I got back into Aixtron too late, so now I'm just sitting this one out. Amat is also an interesting stock.

I've also been invested in AMAT for a few weeks now—I have a diversified portfolio, and it's currently trading sideways. I think now is a good time to get in. 👍

Congratulations on the return! :) Maybe there are a few stocks in your portfolio that would be worth buying more of?

@Max095 My dear, that was my idea, too. But I think I'll hold off on that until the end of the month. There are just too many events coming up right now.

@Max095 It would be great if I could get good buy prices again at $AII and $ATS
2
Imagen de perfil
@Tenbagger-Capital Yeah, that would be great. I'd also like to have $AII in my portfolio.

@Max095 I'm really curious to see how they'll develop from here. But for now, I view the expansion positively. And you see, I'm also invested in that in China.

@Tenbagger-Capital Yes, that's right. $PRX would also be a way to invest indirectly in China.

@Tenbagger-Capital I suspect everything will drop for now if interest rates keep going up... including my altcoins.

@Max095 But that should already be factored into the price to some extent. It would be important to bring down the price of oil. And bond yields

@Tenbagger-Capital That would be a step in the right direction… Can you give Orange 🍊 a call?
Imagen de perfil
@Max095 Then I'll say that I'm going to vote for him, and that I want the dividend he promised

@Tenbagger-Capital Sure, for $5,000, I'd pick that one, too. But only because of the money.

I had considered selling at 60, but decided against it. Now I'm definitely going to hold on to it. I still think it's a good long-term pick.

@Danicx13 Yeah, I also think we'll see tremendous growth again next year. The optoelectronics division is doing well, after all. And it looks like it's bottoming out right now. But since the other machinery manufacturers have also corrected, my plan would be to reallocate. Because Aixtron is, on the whole, a bit more volatile.

@Tenbagger-Capital You can definitely do it that way

@Korni1987 LVMH is incredibly annoying

Think about adding more
Imagen de perfil
@Korni1987 It's slowly starting to look appealing again. But maybe I'll wait and see how the upcoming events go.

@Tenbagger-Capital The store is fundamentally sound, after all.
