How much do you save or invest each month? :)

Good morning, I'd be curious to know how much you invest each month. Feel free to just share your savings rate as a percentage!

For me, it's currently about 45%. But I'm also lucky enough to live in an affordable apartment.

I marry wisely, keep my expenses low, enjoy life, and save the rest. Between 10 and 80 percent.

@DonkeyInvestor Rice is limited to 50 grams per person per day

@GoDividend They have over 50 grams of rice right now? Are you the king of the U.S. or something?

@DonkeyInvestor will be gradually reduced. Life of excess must come to an end

I'm currently saving just under 25% of my pay, but that amount will go up next year.
It's a little addictive😂

@AndrzejBos I know what you mean—I feel bad when I spend money on myself 🤓 I always end up thinking I'd rather invest it instead.

@Lulu I feel the same way. You go out to eat, 100 euros are gone, and you think to yourself: I could have bought a few stocks with that. 😅
But you can't forget to enjoy life, either.

@Get_Rich_or_Die_Tryin It's certainly not easy with kids, but 25% is still really good!

@Lulu I'd say: challenging, to say the least. But I'm going to stubbornly stick with it as long as it works out.👌🏻 If it were up to me, I'd obviously love to do more, but hey, the kids and our adventures come first.😁

Between €250 and €450 (through a savings plan)—it depends on the month—plus whatever's left over at the end of the month.

€2,000 per month in ETFs + occasional stock purchases.

So far, I’ve only contributed 400 euros to my ETF savings plans, but this month it’s 600, and starting next month, the savings amount will be increased to 800 to 900 euros, since I’ve settled a few outstanding balances. The goal is to consistently reach a savings rate of 1,000 euros per month.

@Lulu Thanks! 😁 Five years ago, that savings rate would have been unthinkable for me—and even today, it still seems crazy when you think about it :)

@Meli94 With my 1,300 euros, I'm nothing compared to that.

@Lulu Yeah, that's way more than average!

Investment Account: I invest 500 euros per month. In addition, I try to reinvest at least my dividends. From time to time, there are larger inflows when the opportunity arises.

Real Estate: I’m making relatively diligent payments toward my loans. While some of my new projects have financing with only a 1% principal payment, the rest all had an initial principal payment of at least 2%, which increases continuously as a percentage due to their structure as annuity loans. My tenants pay off about 29,000 euros per year—which corresponds to approximately 2,400 euros in net worth growth per month.
Nothing really. €100 from Trade Republic cashback and €100 in a Nasdaq 100 ETF that I used to contribute to as part of a tax-deferred savings plan. I’m keeping it going out of nostalgia. Oh, and then there’s €6.65 in a current VL portfolio. Unfortunately, my stingy employer won’t let me contribute any more than that.
Otherwise, my portfolio will just have to manage on its own.

3.5 to 6k per month. Unfortunately, it varies a lot depending on my expenses. Unfortunately, they don't come up as regularly as they used to; instead, they pile up.
Imagen de perfil
I invest 25% to 40% of my net salary depending on the month, and 25% of all my freelance work
Imagen de perfil
For me, it's about 90%

Our monthly baseline for retirement is €4000, plus €500 for our son’s future. This amounts to approximately 1/3 of my household income. However, there were months when the invested amount increases slightly. I would have preferred to invest even more, but we recently purchased a home, and an additional one-third of my income will now be allocated to mortgage payments…
