1,000,000 Satoshis hit! 🚀 (And why money in a money market account is a waste)

$BTC (-0 %)

A quick update on my BTC/Yield strategy:

I’ve officially broken through the magic barrier of 1,000,000 sats (0.01 BTC)! 🔥

To keep the compound interest engine running at full speed, my next step was to buy an additional 831,500 satoshis.

📊 My current figures:

Balance: ~$643.39 / €565.60

Passive income: $0.06 / €0.05 every day in interest alone

🏦 A direct comparison to a money market account:

With a prime interest rate on a money market account, you’d earn just about €0.03 to a maximum of €0.05 per day on this amount—and those cents will remain worth exactly that amount forever.

With my Sats, I receive a fixed amount of Satoshis credited to my account every day. If the Bitcoin price rises over the course of the next halvings, the value of all this interest I’ve already earned will increase retroactively as well. 📈

The journey continues—the snowball is just starting to roll!

How are you currently securing your daily yields?

Where does the €0.05 in interest from your satoshis come from? I can't figure that out from the post.

@InvestingJourney These come through Simple Earn—that is, by providing liquidity for transactions so they can be executed almost instantly (e.g., when someone on GoMining buys a new miner, upgrades it, or buys or sells new cryptocurrencies) In return, GoMining charges buyers a small fee, which is then paid out to the people who provide liquidity.

@Gainzilla What risk are you taking on by providing your liquidity?
@InvestingJourney It's not really a "real" one, since it always chooses the best option, and I can decide at any time whether to turn it off again. I can also transfer my Sats to another wallet at any time, and that's it—so 24/7 access, and in my opinion, that's pretty good.
