According to the financial release for Q3, this was probably mainly due to slightly lower fuel margins at filling stations. In addition, Americans probably drove a little less, which led to lower sales and demand.

In addition, costs rose by 3%, which was mainly due to inflation.

All in all, not dramatic in my eyes, will continue to save 😁

@Mister_ultra I have now also read yup. I agree that it's not that dramatic :)

Yes, well: "What caused it"? That's always the question, of course... Of course, I always say: "What caused it?". Uh... Of course, you always ask yourself afterwards what caused it. I always say: "Why did it happen, you don't always know. Why did it happen? Uh... All right, I'll put it this way: "What caused it?" Then you say... afterwards, of course, you always ask yourself "Why did it happen" and... you always ask yourself why it happened. Isso.

But: I'll keep an eye on the company, because it actually sounds pretty good

Hm, it has been predicted time and again that interest rate decisions only really manifest themselves in companies' key figures a few quarters later. It may well be that this will be the start of some negative surprises.

So far I have no further information, but I am not worried about the long-term development of the company. In January, a further deal worth $3.4 billion was concluded with TotalEnergies for further acquisitions and deliveries.
Remains a clear investment for me 😉

@Doe Jup in Germany and the Netherlands Couch Tard owns 100% of the TotalEnergie filling station network and in Belgium/Luxembourg 60% via a JV.

In Germany this amounts to 1,200 filling stations.

It's just a pity that you don't get a horny owl staring at you when you fill up :D

Which sector does the share belong to?

@Lebidagoe For refueling it is energy and for eating/drinking it is basic consumer goods :D

According to Marketscreener it is listed under energy
