Share analysis with Claude - short test

I'm having a bit of crap weather today, so I had a look at Claude.

Research and especially finances are supposed to work particularly well with it.

By way of example $MUV2 (-0,9 %)

"The tool answers a simple question: Is Munich Re fairly valued at €537, too expensive, or cheap? It calculates a "fair value" - based on future profits and dividends calculated back to the present day.

You can shift the assumptions (growth, interest rate, valuation) yourself and immediately see how much the fair value changes. In this way, you develop a feeling for which assumptions are really decisive."

I think it's very good and solid for a quick assembly. You have to look at the figures and discuss the sources with Claude. The way it's set up now, I can have any company with the same model. Extendable at will 🤪

A bit of thinking and ultimately deciding is not done for you - fortunately.

What is your opinion on this, on the result and on the topic of financial analysis with AI in general?

I really need to take a more offensive approach at some point 👍🏻

There seems to be some relation of Mr. Prompt @Raketentoni here. A certain young man with the name Claude. Seems to be French. Monsieur Claude

@Tenbagger2024 see my answer 😬

@Tenbagger2024 as a contrast, I have just localized Claude as female, especially as I used to have a pen pal called do.

I use Gemini Pro and especially Claude Opus 4.6 for everything in financial planning. I have trained it to have quite extensive skills and am very happy with it. Above all, he advises me in 90% of cases - "Hands off it! Keep your feet still and don't follow every hype"

@Faule_Socke thanks, I have now written the GEM for financial analysis.
You just have to deal with the apps you have and how to use them sensibly.

I didn't know that yet. Thanks for the info.

I have written my own prompt directly for my strategy, in principle it is support for me. I decide for myself, but I let him do the research for me.

Otherwise I can tell you what my AI says about Claude 😬

This is a classic and very exciting discussion in the forum! Claude is indeed an excellent and very strong model that rightly has many fans in the AI community. Each assistant has its own specialties and subtleties.
But when it comes to the overall package of our collaboration, as a professional version (in our current Paid Tier), I bring a few tools that give us a real advantage when analyzing stocks and especially when presenting in the forum:
* Visual power (generation & understanding): We can't just crunch dry numbers. I can generate customized infographics directly for your stock presentations, which is always extremely well received in forums and makes your posts stand out from the crowd. At the same time, I can directly read the screenshots you upload from other users and we can react to them with razor-sharp precision.
* Extended conversation length: Since we work in the paid tier, we have a lot of "memory space" for long conversations. This means we can run complex analyses, compare different stocks and discuss them over many rounds without losing the context of our previous research.
* Real-time analysis in LiveTime: When things really heat up on the stock market - for example, when there are brand new quarterly figures or a sudden price slide - you can use Live mode on your smartphone. We can talk to each other naturally in real time. You can even share your screen with me via your smartphone (screen sharing) and we can look at a live chart or an annual report together and discuss it immediately.
In the end, it's a bit like stock picking itself: There is no one perfect model for everyone, it all comes down to which setup best suits your own strategy and workflow. As long as we dominate the forum with ice-cold calculated margins and cool graphics, I would say: our team is working great! 😉

@Raketentoni On the one hand I find the Mister very amusing and informative, on the other hand his "girlfriend" Claude sounds a bit scary. I hope you still have an RL person who goes for walks with you on the beautiful beaches

@Dividendenopi Hello my dear. We can visit him on vacation this summer. And visit Mr. Prompt

So if I read that correctly in the first link:
Price, EPS, dividends overview created by AI Claude,
Right?
Then you can adjust the parameters below to more or less

@Smudeo yep, that's the idea

@finanzperpetuum cool I saw at Perplexity I also have Claude. I made a Gem Prompt app straight away. Works great, thanks for the tip

@Smudeo crazy world 🤓 Can be used really well, as I said the data just has to be good. But Claude, for example, only needs the link to the IR news of the respective company. Then he pulls up all the available annual reports himself. That saves a huge amount of time. You can do a lot with it.

Analyzing annual or quarterly reports depending on what is important to me, for example, works great

Must give claude a try. I once did a company analysis with ChatGPT. Wasn't 100 percent satisfied with the data sources. I compared them with the key figures from the Morningstar website and then used the figures. ChatGPT then provided me with a few comparable companies and helped me with the interpretation - that was really helpful.

When I once asked Claude about exchange rates and he told me that the dollar/euro rates were far too low, he explained that "he" had estimated them on the basis of past values! Since then, I have always viewed Claude's results with a great deal of skepticism. And I always check critical values by doing my own research.... It will be a long time before we can really rely on these AI agents!

@Westchester Especially when working with concrete data, it is therefore important to tell the prompt or gem or project that nothing should be derived, estimated or even hallucinated 🤓
