EUR Overnight or interest

Hello everyone,

From time to time I see people putting their uninvested money into positions like $XEON (+0 %) .

I am currently parking my uninvested money with Scalable.

However, I see that the above ETF has made 2.10% p.a., which in theory would be 0.10% more than the normal interest rate (correct me if I'm wrong).

Now the question arises as to which option has which advantages and disadvantages.

Does the money in the ETF also fall under special assets?

Does it make more sense to put the money in the ETF despite the €1 fee for buying and selling, or would it be better to let it earn interest at two percent?

Then I would have full access to the money without having to pay transaction costs.

Thank you for your help.

Yes, it is special assets.
The 2.1% probably comes from the fact that ECB interest rates were also > 2% during the period. In my opinion, anything under 100k should remain in overnight money.

What amount are you talking about? With 10,000 euros, the difference would be just 10 euros a year. I would simply do what I feel more comfortable with...

Only you can do the math if you know the investment amount and the holding period.
Take a look at $CSH2.

I use a money market ETF more for the reason of increasing my inhibition threshold for accessing this money. Because I still have problems with leaving money in the call money account and tend to spend this money otherwise.
