The Last Dividend

I have $BATS (+1,15 %) and $PG (+0,46 %) sold them. I’d had both in my portfolio for several years. Bat doubled in value during that time, but I don’t see it continuing that way, and they’ve also dropped quite a bit since I sold at 55 euros. Procter & Gamble has more or less been treading water, and I got out at 126 with a small loss. I just can’t see them acquiring, say, something like $LDGL (-0,44 %) or $TDIV (+0,73 %) .

The proceeds went into that as well.

$PG For exactly that reason, I'm also staying away from $BATS; I'm a bit more positive about it

See what you've done by selling? ;-) BAT is down 2% today.

I’m keeping BAT as a defensive cash cow. I also sold P&G a while back, even though I like consumer goods stocks. But they’ve been treading water for a long time—or have even fallen—which the dividend doesn’t even make up for.

@Hickok45 Everything's in the red again today anyway. I already sold BAT back in July. The dividend came as a bit of a surprise to me because I didn't even pay attention to whether it was before or after the ex-dividend date.

Will you fill all months for dividend payments?
@SquarePants i receive already dividends each month. But that's nothing i care about much.
