Up and downs

After sleepless nights and a lot of back and forth, it has finally come to an end. I am happy to have finally been able to exit at a profit and have now switched completely into $PLTR (+2,14 %) completely. Here's to a hopefully somewhat less painful time. 🤕

Don't be angry with me, but the pain will get worse :)

@Alpalaka I doubt whether Palantir will be accused of falsifying the balance sheet and making shortseller attacks. 😄

@Investomesto I was thinking more of your pain when it goes down another 20%

@Alpalaka Oh no, with Super micro I was at -60%. I'm hardened. 😆

@Investomesto but in terms of volatility, Palantir with this valuation is definitely not a safe haven for the faint-hearted and can easily correct 50% with the tech sector...

So in the interests of peace of mind, I would have chosen something else 😄😄

@Roccola601 Oh well, Nvidia's figures will be good today and then it's time to leave. If not, I'll come back to this commentary at 22:30 today. 😆

@Investomesto I don't want to rule that out at all - nevertheless, the article is about strong fluctuations, and not every investor is suitable for that. And if the aim is to swap a volatile, high-risk share for a "safe" share with a stable upward trend and low volatility (but possibly lower returns), THIS swap is not the solution here. 😄
Imagen de perfil
@Roccola601 No, I didn't mean to suggest that at all. 😄 I just wanted to invest in a new tech stock that can also be risky, but is unlikely to fall under suspicion of accounting fraud or anything similar. 🙂 I was probably a bit vague in my wording. 😊

@Roccola601 If the "tech sector" corrects 50%, I'll eat a 🧹 broom.

20% maybe, 50% I don't think so.

@Investomesto I would really like investors to be a little less hysterical in their decisions. I'm a complete beginner and I lack patience. Any falls in Nvidia's share price would even themselves out at some point. That's what I think.

But still. How often do I read that many forecasts are exceeded. And yet it still goes down 10% or 20% because solidly positioned companies actually want to generate (higher) profits by making additional investments (new production facilities, research and development). And that obviously doesn't work at all. Profits are apparently supposed to fall from the sky. The spending policy must not change one iota. I'm sorry, but I don't understand that

Super Micro had a vola of 112.84% and Palantir 112.15% last month. That's like drinking Monster Energy instead of Red Bull to sleep better.

@Tuffbet When news about harmful substances from a whistleblower comes out about Red Bull, I'll gladly take the Monster Energy.

I don't think that was good timing. Now that the figures have been delivered, I expect it to rise further. I would be hurting now because of lost profits.

@HeFun58 Doesn't look like it 😉
