Hello everyone,

I'm 20 and I started investing 400 euros a month in February this year.

I'm currently investing regularly this 400 euros in an accumulation plan divided like this:

100euros each on $CSPX (-1,31 %) and $IWRD (-1,46 %)

Then 50euros each on $XAIX (-2,04 %) and $EIMI (-1,32 %)

and then 20euros each on $XOM (+0,63 %)
$MO (+0,69 %)
$MCD (+0,22 %)
$DOW (+1,22 %) and $CUBE (+1,53 %)

at the same time I'm also reinvesting my dividends.

I'm looking to diversificate more my portfolio since most of the stocks I have are based in the North America zone and mostly in the tech industry and I was hoping for some advice on how to have a better diversification and some advice about dividend growth.

Hello,

I'm planning to have my portfolio divided this way

30% Base ETFs

30% Divided ETFs/REIT

30% Growth ETF

10% Bitcoin/Commodities/Individual Shares

I'm choosing my base ETF's:

15% $VUSA (-1,31 %) because of risk and stability

5% $QQQM Considering the future, and I want to add a bit more technology without a big risk.

10% $IWRD (-1,46 %) to Reduce a bit the US dependecy

Would love to hear your comments

I would not consider the Nasdaq 100 since you already want both the S&P 500 and the MSCI world index and both the S&P 500 and the MSCI world already contain enough tech shares, I would rather diversify more and add more Europe and maybe some Bitcoin if you want to diversify even more and and add a little bit of risk but try to keep it simple since ETF’s are already enough diversified

Savings plans Feedback

Hello dear GQ community, I just wanted to share my savings plans and get some opinions on whether it all fits.

These 6 ETFs currently make up ~70% of my portfolio and are to be expanded in the long term. They all have the same weighting at the moment, with the MSCI World getting a little more.

I am 19 years old and would like to build up a long-term portfolio, and these 6 ETFs looked attractive at the time and are doing quite well so far (all about 1 year old)

Question for the community

Is the $XDWD (-1,5 %) better than the $IWRD (-1,46 %) ?

Because I'm thinking about switching.

0.5% TER for an MSCI World is pretty steep. If you don't have extremely large gains to tax, I would probably look for a new one, yes...

Hello Getquin Community,

I have listened to your opinions on my portfolio and have reconsidered my savings plans.

My savings plans are currently at 325€

13x 25€

5 of these are different ETFs

I am now considering restructuring and building up more focus and a larger core of ETFs.

I am considering increasing the first 3 ETFs to €50 and leaving the others at €25 and then adding 4 individual stocks for €25 each.

But I am still looking for an ETF with countries from Europe.

What do you think of this plan?

MSCI World Switch -

I am currently toying with the idea of switching the MSCI World from $IWRD (-1,46 %) to $HMWO (-1,53 %) change. The reasons are simple at first:

Lower TER = 0.5% vs 0.15%
Higher dividend yield

As the ETF is the basis of my portfolio, I want to hold it for the long term.

Now to my concerns. Back and forth is known to empty your pockets. As I am registered in Switzerland as a non-resident taxpayer with DKB, I would not have to pay tax on the capital gains to date. So much for the theory, but there is still some doubt. It would be a shame if I had to pay tax on my previous capital gains, as the tax expenditure would eat up the exchange gains on the MSCI World for years to come.

Please give me your feedback: stay with the tried and tested or make the switch?

Do you have a tax advisor? He could probably answer your question. Otherwise, just leave the old ETF and save for the new one. Incidentally, there is a good chance that the TER will be lowered at some point in order to remain competitive.

This month the savings rate is a little "lower" because a NYC trip was booked. Previously, this would have made me more stomach ache to spend so much money on a trip and I really wanted to invest every penny. Now I'm looking to fill the "life return" with as many experiences as possible, since now is the time when you are most vital and can make a lot out of your money and travel. If that means reducing the output, I'm willing to do it 🗽.
