Hello everyone,
I've been thinking about the $CALM (+0,4 %) share, but a completely different idea came to me at the same time. The bird flu seems to be quite well under control, or is on the road to recovery. However, I have now read more and more reports that this bird flu, also known as H5N1, is increasingly spreading to cattle and in some cases also to humans. I had also read that in the USA it is very difficult and strict to effectively protect other animals against H5N1 or to detect this infection first. Now my assumption was or is that many animals could also die there or have to be culled, which could lead to an increase in the price of the meat or the animals themselves. I'm sure this idea existed before me and I may be late with it. I will therefore take a small gamble that the prices for the animals will rise in the near future, as the USA is probably not fully aware of what might happen.
It is also possible that I am completely wrong, so I would like to know your opinion. I just ask for one thing: no moralizing, because I don't wish death or anything like that on any animal, it's just the possibility that this virus is completely underestimated there.
