I (still) work in the construction industry for Deutsche Bahn. 🛤
My typical workday starts with a walk to my company car, a $F (-0,11 %). If I’m not on the phone with $SMSD (-4,46 %) my employer’s cell phone ☎️, I like to listen to podcasts or audiobooks about $SPOT (-0,06 %). But I only do this on my personal phone from $AAPL (-0,3 %). 📱
Since the trips to Deutsche Bahn construction sites across Germany can sometimes be very long, I naturally have to fill up every now and then. I use my fuel card to stop at Aral, which, as is well known, is a subsidiary of $BP (+2,33 %) . Recently, however, you can also $TTE fill up there as well. ⛽️
My work tools include, among other things, the $TOSYY laptop 💻 and Office 365 from $MSFT (-0,53 %) 📧. On the construction site itself, personal protective equipment (PPE)—some of which comes from $MMM (-0,45 %), is, of course, a must. 🦺
My job is to coordinate the various companies on large construction sites. The rails come from $VOS (-1,62 %), and the signaling technology from $SIE (-0,46 %) or $HO (-1,56 %), $HON (-0,41 %) manufactures track clearance detection systems, to name just a few examples. All kinds of construction companies are, of course, also active on the job sites: for example,$STR (+1,43 %), $BFLBY (-0,91 %) or $HOT (-1,33 %).
For a good cup of coffee ☕️ or a burger 🍔, we head over to $MCD (+0,12 %), if there’s a branch nearby. Unfortunately, all too often it’s just a gas station hot dog or a sandwich I brought from home. When the workday gets really long, I’ll also pop into the supermarket for a can of $SBUX (+0,5 %) or $MNST (-1,67 %) .
