What are the most questionable stock recommendations you have heard from friends/acquaintances/relatives/colleagues?

For me it's the beginning of 2023 $LCID (+2,94 %) Lucid Group from an ex-colleague who was kicked out during his probationary period

Was he kicked out because he recommended the share to you?

I always buy everything that is suggested to me by friends and especially here on Getquin. Because the others always know more than I do 🤡

My uncle recommended $NIO to me🤮 Since then, I no longer listen to any tips or recommendations when it comes to shares. And if I do, I prefer to do my research first.

I heard a lot of talk about $TSLA but never bought it (thank goodness!) as it seemed just as dangerous to me but bought $BAYN (-50% now) 😀 The climate change issue had an impact on me when I invested in $6367 Daikin, that's still -20% 😀 So stupidity knows no bounds.

Best idea 💡 looking glass lab 😝 was one of my first stocks....
I also unconsciously set a limit and I was simply sold 400 shares for a few cents 🤣 except for 5 shares, which I still have in my portfolio as a souvenir... and I'll never never never never give them away again 🚀
They're not even called looking glass anymore 😆 CA59140M1086

I should look for work... no fun, the sad thing is that I was on the other side and sometimes got people into trouble. With $WDI or Varta, for example.

All China stocks such as Tencent, Alibaba and Nio. I didn't buy the former, but the other two I felt were at their ATH. My buddy invested over 25k and I followed him blindly.
