71Oracle: SAP rival increases dividend and focuses on growth
In the USA, Oracle $ORCL (-5,9 %) has bright prospects in the midst of a challenging market environment. Despite a reluctance to invest and intense competition in the cloud business, the company disappointed market forecasts in the last quarter. But that is not the end of the story. Group CEO Safra Catz is optimistic for the coming 2025/2026 financial year. She speaks of an impressive order backlog of 130 billion dollars, which could increase total sales by a hefty 15 percent.
In addition to these growth prospects, there was also good news for shareholders: Oracle is planning to increase its quarterly dividend by a quarter to 0.50 dollars per share. Oracle is thus not only focusing on expansion, but is also rewarding its investors.

The great deepseek scam?
I would like to share with you my theory on the deepseek issue.

Also the fact that allegedly only 2000 Nvidia chips were used with 5nm is simply strange
Day 4 | WEF 2025
The CEO of $SAP (-5,31 %), Christian Kleindescribed the recently announced investment of 500 billion US dollars in the US AI infrastructure, the so-called Stargate project, as a "wake-up call for Europe". In an interview at the #wef2025 Klein called the project, which was initiated by OpenAI, $9434 (-3,44 %), $ORCL (-5,9 %) and led by the Trump Administration, "a great step". He explained that it was the right decision and would also help to increase government productivity. Klein pointed out that Europe often complains about regulations and too many AI laws, while the Stargate project is a good role model for Europe.
He added that he would "absolutely support".
"We work with all public sectors worldwide and of course we would welcome it in Europe as well"
"Europe needs it the most, from my point of view."

Stargate update
According to Bloomberg, SoftBank $9984 (-9,82 %) and OpenAI will each initially invest 19 billion dollars in Stargate. Each will hold 40% of the shares in the joint venture. Oracle $ORCL (-5,9 %) and MGX are both investing 7 billion dollars, but no specific shares are attributed to them. The remainder of the initial 100 billion dollars will be financed through debt and smaller investments from third parties.
Who still finds it funny how offended Elon Musk is about the whole thing? Trump has shown him who really has the say.
