Netflix ($NFLX (-5.74%)) - The streaming pioneer Netflix had to accept heavy losses yesterday. After-hours, the stock fell up to - 20%. The reason was the disappointing user growth in the quarterly figures reported yesterday. At first glance, the figures did not look bad, as earnings were above expectations and revenue was in line with expectations. However, for the streaming service, the most important metric is user growth, Netflix only recorded 8.3 million new subscribers in Q4 2021 instead of the predicted 8.5 million. The outlook was also disappointing, with user growth of just 2.5 million in the first quarter of 2022.

Zalando ($ZAL (-7.88%)) - DAX 40 company Zalando wants to launch a share buyback program worth 200 million euros. In total, up to 2.2 million own shares are to be repurchased. The purchased shares are to be used mainly for stock option programs for employees and members of the Management Board.

Crypto.com - Following the hacking attack on the crypto exchange Crypto.com, the company has now announced that they will pay for all damages. According to the company's statements, all damaged have already been fully compensated. Additionally, the CEO made the following statement regarding the security of the trading platform, "We invest heavily in cyber security and have more than 200 experts who have built a very robust infrastructure over the past few years."

Nykaa - On Oct. 28, India's FSN E-Commerce Ventures, the parent company of India's largest cosmetics retailer Nykaa, aims to go public at a valuation of $7.4 billion. A total of 41,972,660 shares will be available for sale by the first of November. Nykaa was founded in 2012 and already has 1,500 beauty product brands in its portfolio.

Softbank ($SFT (-9.82%)) - According to insiders, Japanese technology investor Softbank is negotiating with German company United Robotics to buy the French robotics business centered around the humanoid robot Pepper. The Bochum-based company United Robotics already works with Softbank and distributes its Pepper and Nao robots in Europe. There was no official comment from either company on the takeover rumors.

Evergrande ($EV1) - Shortly before the deadline, the Chinese real estate group Evergrande was able to make a multi-million dollar interest payment. It was transferred 83.5 million U.S. dollars to the bondholders. As a result, the share price rose by more than seven percent in the meantime. So far, the shares have lost more than 80 percent of their value in 2021. But further interest payments are also due soon. On October 29, the next grace period for a bond expires. To be able to pay banks, suppliers and bondholders on time, Evergrande must therefore continue to raise money.

Solana ($SOL/EUR (+0.85%)) - One of the strongest gainers in recent days was once again the Solana blockchain cryptocurrency SOL. After growing 36.8% in the last seven days, SOL's current price is $205.28, resulting in a market cap of $61.56 billion. SOL thus overtakes Ripple XRP ($21XX (+5.32%)) and ranks sixth among the world's largest cryptocurrencies. One of the main reasons for SOL's strong growth is likely the booming DeFi (Decentralized Finance) sector of the Solana blockchain. Solana differs from other blockchains, such as Ethereum or the Binance smartchain, by its incredible speed and extremely low transaction fees.
