Cardano ($ADA (-5.13%)) - Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson: "Crypto is eliminating the gap between the rich and the have-nots."
According to Hoskinson, Africa is expected to be the richest continent in the world by 2050, for example, the Cardano CEO shared that his platform will launch a peer-to-peer lending project in Africa later this year. That would be "really cool," he believes. Because it would really showcase the benefits of crypto to everyone. The project, which will initially focus on Kenya, will work solely with a stablecoin and allow loans to be made and accepted with it, he said. Participants in the system will be identified via the blockchain.
